This is a great tent once you figure out how to set it up. Naturally,I didn’t do a practice run before I left for my trip, but luckily I had lots of help at the site where I pitched my tent. I liked the cross ventilation this tent provides and it was certainly adequately waterproof. That got tested more than once. For the price this is a great tent, and if you are hiking you couldn’t do better. For me, I guess as I really spent 4 days in the tent I would have liked a tent with more headroom;perhaps something I could actually stand up in. I was able to store my boots under the exterior flap and keep them dry. Getting in and out was easy with the large access door. Overall the Swiss Gear Niesen Hiker is a really good tent and I do recommend it.
