I walked around the house to see if they fit ok, and they’re great. Alot lighter than the other skechers I’ve tried on before. Plus there’s arch support in them, and I get a little taller because of the heel. (typical skechers right? br /br /Got the black ones for work where we stand for hours at a time. I love Skechers shoes and so I know my sizing and can buy these sight-unseen. I already have Skechers Women’s Premium – Bright Eye Sneaker Mule and have used those almost exclusively over the last 6 months — perfect for slipping on to take the kids to school or the dogs out and very comfortable. br /br /However, since the weather is getting more dicey — I wanted a shoe with a closed heal but still be able to slip on and go and not mess with laces. Since these basically have the same styling only not in Mule-form, this was a no brainer. They are great for running around town in the rain (they keep your feet dry), going for casual walks and bike rides. They have a very stable platform so your ankle isn’t going to be wobbling because your foot goes this way and that within the shoe.br /br /They slide on easily but the elastic at the top of the foot (where the laces would be) means that they stay put with minimal slippage on the heal while you walk. However, if you do have a narrow heal — these probably will give you blisters and not work well for you.br /br /Skechers are great because, for me, they last forever. They are very comfortable and just fit my foot. In addition, they look like a classic shoe (as opposed to all the wild running colors and styles that seem to dominate these days) and the cost is very affordable. br /br /[NCJAR]br /br /Everyone has different feet and there are certain brands that work best for you. For me, I know that I can pretty much count on Skechers to fit and last no matter what and I’m very lucky!

I love having the look and sole (no pun intended) of a tennis shoe that I can just slip on without having to lace them up. We have dogs that need to be taken out several times a day and I don’t wear shoes in the house. So it is really nice to be able to just slip these on for a quick trip out with the dogs or to take my son to school in the morning.br /br /These look great and are extremely comfortable. They hold your foot securely … you don’t feel like the shoe is going to be “kicked off” as you take a step forward. I can use these for walking and have even riden a horse in these (though they are not the ideal footwear for horseback riding). I’ve also used them for bike rides. These are so effective that I rarely use full athletic shoes any more — only when I know I’m going to be walking through muck or doing working out at the gym where I want the full support of a running shoe.br /br /The think I like about these is that they don’t necessarily look like a mule. The also last a long time. The elastic that hugs your foot has yet to show any signs of wearing out despite having owned them for over a year. I would not hesitate to buy these again. I have the pink and will probably buy other colors add to my wardrobe.
