Women’s Ryka® Elements Athletic Shoes Oyster / Silver / Mandarin CustomerReview

I am a 5′4″ inch woman who weighs just over 150lbs. I began running May using the Couch to 5K training program. Every since finishing I have run 5K every other day and increase my pace to 9 minutes and 36 seconds per mile (slow). So, in summary, I am a heavy runner who runs slow and only runs about 12 miles a week.br /br /I bought these shoes when I started Couch to 5K and they have served me well since (May to end of August). I have a low to regular arch and I underpronate (at least I think so because the wear pattern on my shoes is on the outside and I don’t feel like I do a lot of pushing off from my big toe.). I know…underpronation is a problem of people with high arches not low arches but that’s the way it goes for me. I also naturally strike midfoot. Oh, and I have a wide foot…if that means anything.br /br /In any event I have enjoyed these shoes. I have not had a second of discomfort. I don’t run enough to worry about weight but potentially some runners might find this shoe heavy, but maybe not. br /br /I would recommend this shoe to any beginning runner who has an arch and pronation like mine.br /br /Happy Running!
