Meguiar’s G17216 Ultimate Compound CustomerReview
I used this mainly to remove bad water spots from a client’s black Z06 Corvette. He had paid a local auto dealer to detail the car, but they failed to remove the bad spots. After washing and clay barring, I used this product on my PC 7424 and on the first pass, it removed 99% of the spots. This product gives the best results when it is used with a 7424 set at about 4, and thoroughly working the product down. Definitely do smaller areas at a time, otherwise it can be stubborn to remove. I agree with another poster that terrycloth works much better than microfiber. I followed this up with #7, then NXT 2.0. My client was amazed, and said that his car never looked this good.br /br /I want to also point out that the first bottle of this stuff that I bought disintegrated for some reason. It could be heat, but if so, it is the only detail product I have ever owned that “went bad” in the bottle. I hope my local retailer replaces it.br /br /With the next car I do, I plan to follow the same process, but top it off with Collinite 845 instead.
