As a car detail specialist I’ve found that NXT wax 2.0 is a very reliable product. It is one of the two professional paint protectants that I use in my business. The other is Meguiar’s synthetic sealant. Although found in many common auto shops, NXT wax provides professional results that pathetic turtle wax cant match. NXT wax is very easy to apply and remove by hand if you give it about 20 minutes to dry. It has very nice gloss and looks best on red cars (doesn’t work too well with black cars b/c it smudges). It repels water very well and lasts quite a long time. A new coat is needed about every 3-4 months. br /br /examples of cars coated with NXT wax 2.0 can be found at [...]br /br / If you are a person who strives constantly to bring out your car’s beauty, retain its value, and turn heads, you should give up half a day and try this… Wash, Clay Bar, most abrasive polish, medium abrasive polish, very fine polish, synthetic sealant, and lastly NXT wax. Polishing is basically liquid sandpaper and should be applied with a variable speed polisher. But don’t even try using one if you don’t have someone to teach you. You can take off your paint too easily and it would be risky.

I was given a bottle of NXT Generation Glass Cleaner in a product pack we won and loved the way it worked. It works like a glass cleaner should — quick and easy with no streaking. When I needed to buy more, I couldn’t find it locally and tried other well known name brand cleaners. None worked anywhere near as well and some ended up in the trash after the first use. I was glad to find NXT online and won’t buy anything else!

I’ve used so many different car washes over the years I’ve lost count. In the late 90s and through 2001 I was using various high-end washes that only professional detailers usually know about. Lately I’ve been using P21S shampoo for my washes but I switched to Meguiar’s NXT car wash this year.br /br /Bottom line, everything that a professional detailer wants in a car wash/shampoo is in this wash! It goes on VERY smooth, REALLY cuts through dirt/grime and helps lift particles off the paint, it’s reasonably gentle, it suds VERY well, it is reasonably priced, and it smells good.br /br /Unless someone develops an even better car wash in the future, this is the car wash I’ll be sticking with for LIFE.

I love this stuff, it cleans so well ~ I use it on all my glass, it is great for mirrors, tables, and auto. It easily cleans glass, mirrors and clear plastic, leaving nothing but a perfect, streak-free, finish! I’m not sure what Meguiar’s put in their new glass cleaner that makes it so good. I simply know it works! Here’s what you can expect: Easily cuts through heavy interior and exterior films, including smoke film, bugs, tree sap, and road grime Streak-free, no-haze, just perfectly clear glass Safe for all tinted windows and clear plastic Ammonia free Fresh scent Backed by Meguiar’s streak-free finish guarantee or your money back Here’s a benefit you’ll enjoy. I discovered that Meguiar’s NXT Glass Cleaner works great as an insect and bird dropping pre-cleaner. Simply spray insect remains and bird droppings with Meguiar’s NXT Glass Cleaner and allow the cleaner to loosen the soil. After 1-2 minutes, hose off or wipe off with a soft microfiber towel. It’s a safe and effective solution for a messy problem. 24 oz. Spray Directions: For best results use with a quality microfiber glass or polishing towel. Surface should be cool to the touch and in the shade. Mist glass cleaner onto one section at a time. Quickly wipe the product with your microfiber towel. As is true in many car detailing products and their use, prep-work is very important to get the best results. br /br /This product is more ‘protectant’ and not so much ‘cleaner’. I would NOT use this on a soiled or dusty surface first. Instead, I would clean the surface or damp-wipe with water to remove dust, before bringing this out.br /br /Its a very heavy product, and it spreads well. Some people think its shiny, but I feel those people haven’t spread it around on the surface enough to work it in evenly, or used too much. I found after using too much myself the first time, I went back over it with another fresh rag to take off the excess, and it left a deep finish that wasn’t overly glossy (to me.) Not shiny and reflective, but not at all dull either.br /br /As far as protecting, I did a torture test on an older formulae of this product. I applied half to a piece of an old plastic engine cover, then (accidentally) left it outdoors in the sun for 6 months. The unprotected half was brittle, and the NXT side was still floppy.br /br /I use this on any and all non-clear plastics, rubber, and vinyl, including stripping and tires.
