I decided to detail my 2001 Toyota Corolla this spring. I love my car and got sick of just washing it and changing the oil so I decided I’d do the little things this year. I recently changed my headlights and realized how foggy/hazy my headlight covers were so I did some research. I decided to go with Meguiars and it really cleared them up. They won’t look brand new and I dont think the product claims to, but they look near-new and give it a drastically better appearance. One of my headlights was original and the other is about 4 years old (replaced after accident). The original looked horrible and the other was starting to haze. They both now look almost new. Took me 10 minutes, of foam application pads and I am %100 happy with this purchase. If you want your headlights restored, this is the product. I can say that 9 year old headlights through New England winters were cleared up easily.

This is probably my favorite product from Meguiar’s. It makes doing a quick touch up of the interior a pleasure. You simply spray it on the surface of where you need to clean and wipe. It does not leave residue on glass, and since it is not a shine product you do not have to worry about the little area you may have missed looking really dull next to the other areas on the door panel or dash. It also can be used on plastic etc… so you don’t have to worry about wiping off an residue that other procuts leave on your radio or gauges. It is a great product for anybody to use that just wants to get the dust and dirt off of their dash etc… Plus it smells really good

I have been using Meguiar’s Vinyl/Rubber #40 for 14 years. Why?br /- Not shiny, phony glossy black. br /- Tires look new, not shiny, not dull, but nice rich black with a new look.br /- Doesn’t brown or yellow.br /- Works well on interior dash and darker plastic on consolebr /- Doesn’t leave an odor.br /br /Do not use on rubber/vinyl floor mats or leather seats. You can if you want a semi-glossy look but it leaves the surface too slippery. My local parts store CSK/Kragen doesn’t stock it anymore. Good find on Amazon.br /Cars: Porsche Turbo, Acura CLS, Aston Martin DB9

I have an Opel Astra that has just been punished by the German winters the last couple of years. It’s black but really looked gray. So the other day, I gave it a wash and decided to try out my new Meguiars stuff. WOW! It’s black now. That’s all I can say. br /br /There were surface scratches (not deep) on the hood, fenders, and doors – they’re gone now. I applied by hand basically as the sun was going down so it was difficult to really guage at the time how well it was working, but you can apply this product by hand with excellent results. Ensure you use some “passion” when applying by hand and really give it a good rub. I will have to do this step again with the claybar when it warms up around here, but it really does what it advertises. br /br /If you’ve got some minor swirls and light scratches with no DA polisher or rotary, you can rest assured this product will help you get rid of them when applied by hand. There are 2 more steps to Meguiar’s Deep Crystal system, but I haven’t tried them yet; I only have 1 and 2 and have only done step 1. I’ll be back in the spring to edit this review after I’ve done both. I’ll use Gold Class wax. br /br /But I’m confident this will give you the results you are looking for in removing those minor blemishes by hand, even for an enthusiast (not a pro) like me. I discovered that Meguiar’s NXT Glass Cleaner works great as an insect and bird dropping pre-cleaner. Simply spray insect remains and bird droppings with Meguiar’s NXT Glass Cleaner and allow the cleaner to loosen the soil. After 1-2 minutes, hose off or wipe off with a soft microfiber towel.
