This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. bNot doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer./b Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force. /p

This watch epitomizes the need to see the product in person. Looking at the picture, the face looks very blue/purple and the case looks shinybr /gold. quite striking i thought. upon recieving it, i was very surprised to find a very flat gold, and an almost black face! as i examined the watchbr /more closely, it was revealed that the face is iridescent, changing to a very subtle metallic blue/purple as the light hit it differently. very nice, butbr /a complete surprise. the band is also very nice, and keeps the watch in the more sporting look. with a nice bracelet, this would be a very dressybr /piece of jewelry. The face has got alot going on, but doesnt seem cluttered. It reminds me of some sunken treasure chest, covered in seaweed br /and full of glittering plunder. Besides looking good on the wrist, it also makes for a fine objet d’art, moving around my house to various locationsbr /as the mood hits me.
