I used to own expensive watches (Cartier, Rolex, etc.) but I have a tendency to lose my belongings and also I was shocked to see how much things like simple repairs cost on them. I decided to buy this relatively inexpensive watch to make a fashion statement and functional watch but have something that wouldn’t sicken me if I lost or broke it. br /br /**I hate when people write reviews on products they’ve just owned a few days or several weeks. So I wore this watch almost every day for 4 and a half months before writing this. **br /br /The Big Gold Men’s Rolex is a trendy woman’s look at the moment, but I decided that I just didn’t want to spend the money to get the look with a genuine Rolex. Hence, I bought this one instead to approximate the “look.” By the time this trend has passed, I won’t be heart-broken to have spent a couple of hundred dollars on this Invicta instead of many thousand on a Rolex.br /br /I’d say that this gold Invicta more of a fun and hip watch than an elegant classic. I’ve received compliments on it. When I look at it close up, it’s clearly not a high-end watch. For example, one of the smaller dials is slightly off-centre and glued in at an angle. The diamonds are ridiculously tiny – I’d actually prefer that they were not there at all. It has worked well; so far, there have been absolutely no issues with its functionality. For the sale price I paid for it, it’s a great day-to-day watch that fits in with current trends and doesn’t look like junk.br /br /I’d definitely recommend this watch IF you’re not looking for an investment piece but rather a pretty watch that will tell the time and fit in with current trends.
