There are many mixed reviews for this watch. I personally think not enough people have given their brand-spankin’ new watches enough break-in time. br /br /Out of the box, my own bezel was very difficult to rotate. Now its smooth as silk. br /The watch band gets scuffed, but after a short time, the scuffs add up and get evened out and become part of the finish. Ask a guy if he minds the scuffs on his wedding band. The answer will be a great big no. Same with this watch band. Sure, the first scuff is heartbreaking, but it soon becomes “character.” br /The watch keeps perfect time if treated right. Yes, it will unwind if you leave it on the bedside table for longer than usual. This is normal. That’s why watch stores sell those weird rotating watch boxes. Overnight is fine, two days is too much. Deal with it. That’s part of owning an automatic watch.br /The weight is amazing. I forget how light it is until I pick up my previous everyday watch…a similar looking armitron…and that’s when you really appreciate this watch. br /br /I had previously been wary of Invicta, based on reviews I’d read and hearsay. Now I can truly say that was all a waste of time. I’m very happy with this watch and wear it every day.
