A few ups and downs, but after the first two weeks, all ups! Skeleton style is just awesome, especially showing it to friends, seeing lots of moving gears, and being able to look right through the watch. Shiny, eye catching, looks good with dress clothes. No batteries needed (child of the digital watch era heh) is definitely nifty and appreciated.br /br /Looking through tons of skeleton watches and needing a dress watch, I finally settled on the Invicta 7211. The first one I had for two days, and one of the ’screws’ on the bezel fell right out when the watch took a small knock (they don’t have threads, maybe just glued in?). So I returned it and got another one. Three months later, it’s held up well and aside from the really, really thick leather band, it’s perfect. Initially the hands didn’t both point to 12 at midnight, and I was irritated, but they do now – maybe it just needed some time to ‘break in’.br /br /It’s hefty, weighty and feels very solid – all positive things in my book. It’s not Rolex accurate, but then it’s not Rolex priced either. It usually is slow about 1 minute at the end of a 24 hour period, but that’s really not an issue – if I really wanted accuracy, I’d wear a digital watch (or just look at my cell phone). I want something that looks really cool and tells time well enough to be useful in my day to day life. All of which this watch does perfectly.br /br /The Invicta quality control is a bit spotty, so keep a close eye on it and make sure to note the return period, but if you get a good copy, it’s simply a great experience.
