This is a pretty heavy and thick watch. For those of us reaching a certain age, the crystal is a super magnifier of the numbers and watch hands. It’s very easy to read from just about any distance. br /br /The best part of this watch, the interchangeable bands: black, coffee, pink, white, and turquoise. The bands are all shiny leather and have a bit of a metal flake look to them, not unlike a deep automotive finish. No tools are required to change the bands, there is a small metal bump on the band, push it inward, the band pin retracts from the hole in the watch, and, boom, the band is released. It takes two minutes to change bands. Of course moving that pin requires some strong fingernails, but it does move. Sweet design.br /br /This is a practical watch. Style is retro, and a bit unusual. The watch is just over one half inch thick, fairly thick for a woman’s watch. One inch wide and almost two inches long, the watch is about average size. The face is a nice mother of pearl. The numbers are well machined and attached to the top of the mother of pearl face (they are not inlaid as with a lot of watches). There is no date. This is a simple time keeper with a sweep second hand. br /br /The watch is electric and water resistant to one hundred feet. br /br /If you can find this watch available, it is a beauty.

couldn’t resist amazon’s offer ()! i totally luv this watch. i’m partial to chunky watches so I couldnt let this offer pass. the straps have this easy release feature so switching straps is super easy! you dont even need to read the manual to figure it out! the straps are gorgeous that I didnt want to ruin them by wearing them everyday so I bought a cheaper strap locally…one that i wont feel so bad about ruining haha! I’m just having issues with that thing you pull to adjust the time. It says you have to rotate it until it pops out and you can pull it to adjust the time. then you’d have to rotate it the other way and ’seal’ it back (to make it waterproof). I just cant manage to seal it back =S i guess i’ll just have to figure it out. all in all, a great deal on a lovely watch!br /br /Just a follow up on my review:br /the battery ran out within a month…but had it replaced at a local watch repair shop and that solved the problem…still having issues with the knob tho…sometimes, I’d notice that it had stopped because it had been pressed down while I was wearing it (which is odd because the manual says it should be pressed down to ensure that it’s waterproof)…would take back a star or two from my rating if the watch continues to give me problems…good thing I got it at a bargain
