I was a little disappointed in the Dansko shoes. I bought a pair last year and wore them almost everyday; they were so comfortable. But the pair I purchased this year did not fit as well. I needed to return them for a smaller size and they still do not fit well. The style of the shoe was similar to my first pair. I am puzzled as to why the fit should be so different.

These are my first pair of Dansko shoes and so far they are great. I recently tore my plantar fascia and my sister who had a similar problem recommended I try them out. The shoes were a little tight on the sides for me at the front and a bit big in the back but with moderately thick socks they are great. After wearing them a couple of times they have conformed to the shape of my foot better and don’t feel as tight as they did at first. They are very supportive in the arch and feel sturdy enough that they will last a long time. For anyone who has never tried on a pair of Danskos, I recommend going to a brick-and-mortar store and trying them on to get the right size (I wear a 7.5 which is a 38 in EU sizes). Then come back to Amazon and make your purchase!

This will be my 3rd color Dansko. Yhey are very comfortable for long shifts. Beware the sizing. I was torn between the 39 which I thought would work for me (9 1/2 US) but, after trying them on in a store the 40 worked much better. They took a little while to get used to but, they are worth it.
