We went to a boutique running shoe store to get a great running shoe. The store measured pressure points electronically (you could see where your feet put pressure when standing and walking). This was used by the salesman to advise us of the most appropriate shoe.br /br /We bought one for 5. We were advised that it is best to have a running shoe reserved only for running. However these shoes are so comfortable, that my spouse wanted another pair for walking around. The exact same shoe was available here on Amazon for . br /br /If you need good arch support, these are great shoes. My suggestion to anyone reading this, is to go to a high quality running store, let them determine what sort of shoe you need, then either purchase one pair at the store, or come back and see if it is offered for less here at Amazon.br /br /The shoe from Amazon was the exact same shoe we got from the boutique running store, only it was delivered to our door and was less.
