I’m normally a trail and barefoot runner, but when my feet need a break, and I still want to run, the Ghost 2 provides nicely! A high arch helps when my feet stretch from running in my Fivefinger KSOs, and a comfortable fit that compares to my Mizuno Aspire. I forefoot strike, yet this shoe keeps me on my toes, and has the responsiveness to go with it. Unfortunately, the traction is not perfect, and suffers in non-road environments, but this has everything I need in a road shoe! br /br /In short, a good neutral shoe with a higher arch and good flexibility. Easily one of my favourites.

These are meant for neutral pronators. I normally wear 8.5, but got them in 9 and are a perfect fit. Consider getting 1/2 size larger. The most impressive feature is the overall cushioning. They have a really good arch support and the toe box is very well cushioned. I haven’t felt such comfort with any other running shoes. They needed no “break-in” time and have felt great since day 1. Shin splints, blisters and knee pain are history, so I’ve been able to run a lot more thanks to these. I don’t think I’d ever buy anything else.

This is my first pair of Brooks, and I love these running shoes. They are light and supportive. They’re also well-ventilated, which I appreciate. I have a very narrow foot, so I was concerned about getting a proper fit, but these are perfect. I have problems with overpronating, which is one of the reasons I chose this shoe. I never realized how a shoe could really correct this issue, but it seems to really help control movement.

This shoe looks great and the cushioning is incredibly soft. The insides of these shoes are not very smooth so you’ll have to wear thick socks if you plan to actually run with these shoes. Sizing seems to run slightly smaller compared to my Asics and Saucony shoes. I ordered size 10.5 and they felt a bit tight. After wearing them for two days they seem to have expanded slightly but next time I will order a size 11 when I choose my next Brooks shoe.

This was used by the salesman to advise us of the most appropriate shoe.br /br /We bought one for 5. We were advised that it is best to have a running shoe reserved only for running. However these shoes are so comfortable, that my spouse wanted another pair for walking around. The exact same shoe was available here on Amazon for . br /br /If you need good arch support, these are great shoes. My suggestion to anyone reading this, is to go to a high quality running store, let them determine what sort of shoe you need, then either purchase one pair at the store, or come back and see if it is offered for less here at Amazon.br /br /The shoe from Amazon was the exact same shoe we got from the boutique running store, only it was delivered to our door and was less.

My picky podiatrist introduced me to Brooks Addiction Walking shoes–and he was right! I’ve had both ankles replaced because of a birth defect that caused overpronation and flat feet. While the surgery replaced the severely damaged joints, it did not repair the cause of the problem, so I still have flat feet and ankles that turn inward (pronate). So good supportive shoes are essential and these have great support and are the most comfortable walking shoes I’ve ever had.
