It’s always hard buying something like shoes online but once I slipped the Brooks Addiction 8’s on my feet I knew this was the perfect running shoe for me. Just slip in a high quality cushioning shoe liner and off I go. I previously had the Addiction 7’s and finally beat those to death through months of marathon training at nearly 200 miles a month to my normal 25-40 miles a week. I’m an average sized runner at 5′-10″ and 165 lbs. After years of running with neutral control shoes I started suffering from knee pain and plantar faciitis but soon after running in a motion control shoe those problems quickly faded away. The quality of Brooks shoes is unsurpassed, I’ve never had a running shoe hold up as well as these shoes have.
